Hey now! You made it to Part 3 of the 10 Simple Yet Effective Ways to Prepare for the End of the Year 3-Part Series! If you missed Part I & Part II just click the links and you’ll be taken directly there. You want to read and implement each suggestion to really maximize your results.

Now that you’ve done that, let’s dig into the last installment of the series!

Way #7

Stay The Course
Don’t give up, instead, get resourceful. Reach out to your coach or your best friend. Read an inspiring text or listen to a motivational audio. Do what you need to do to stay on the path.

During some parts of your journey it will feel all too easy to just throw up your hands and quit and you’d be justified in doing so. As Steve Jobs says, folks “quit, because they’re sane”. Attempting to turn your passion into profit in a sense is cray. But guess what?  It’s also Possible.

If you run into an obstacle on the the path you’re heading down, pivot and go a new way. Explore a different approach, seek mentorship and KEEP GOING. Obstacles aren’t evidence you’re wrong, they’re just an opportunity to get creative.

Implement this today:
Take a look at what feels like a roadblock on your path to success. Explore how you can get resourceful and creative to move through (around, or over) this obstacle.

Way #8

Take Baby Steps
Sometimes you’ll progress in leaps, other times it’ll feel like a slow creep. In the interest of keeping your momentum going, remember, taking baby steps is better than staying stuck and stagnant.

Implement this today:
Every week from this point on, declare ONE THING that you’re going to for sure accomplish by the end of the week. Sometimes it will feel like it’s not enough, but trust me, this practice will ensure that by the end of each month you have taken steady sustainable steps towards your goal, no matter what.

Way #9

Write it down
It’s one thing to muse, it’s a whole ‘notha level when you write down your goals, plans and ambitions. If you write down your goals often they’re more likely to come into fruition. This is especially important as we talk about preparing for the end of the year. Get it down on paper (or screen) and write out what you intend to do. Then take action.

Implement this today:
Get in the habit of writing down your goals regularly keeping them in front of you and top of mind. That alone will put you on the fast path to success.

Way #10

Team Up!
No more lone wolf syndrome! From this point on, think about how you can start getting support from others. Just be cause you can do it all, doesn’t mean that doing it all is the best use of your time and energy. Plus, that’s the fastest way to burn out.

Business (and life) is way more fun when community is involved. Do you need to hire an assistant? Do you need to start sharing your wins with your besties? Do you need to find a mentor? Do you need to join a sister circle?

If you’re looking for a space to connect with some soul sisters like you. Click here and sign-up to join the community.

No matter what you do, just be sure to shift your mindset from Lone Wolf to Teaming Up!

Implement this today:
Identify at least ONE support network of some kind that you’ll allow to help support you along your journey. You’ll be so happy you did.

There you have it! Are there other ways you’re preparing for the end of the year? List your ways down below, I’d love to read them.

Until next time,

Jennifer
