Executive Assistant Job
Team Jennifer Covington is looking for the right person to fill the unique job position of our Executive Assistant.
Our current Executive Assistant has graduated from college and is moving forward with a FT position in her desired career. We are looking for a replacement who desires a long-term independent contractor assignment with our heart-centered company.
The right candidate loves being the right-hand gal, guy, or person and is happy to help whether it’s running errands, doing virtual assistant type duties as needed or helping make sure a local live event runs smoothly.
She/He/They possesses self-confidence, professionalism, and a positive and helpful spirit that brightens the room when they enter. This person has strong organizational skills, is a quick learner and is willing to step in and take on whatever task that may need to get done, whether it’s at the home office of the owner, out and about around the Bay Area or tackling something online via remote access.
We help individuals start and grow their own soul-centered businesses. Jennifer Covington is “officially,” a life coach for female entrepreneurs. Unofficially… she is a catalyst for change and an advocate for world peace.
The Executive Assistant will work in the home office of Team Jennifer Covington, in Oakland, CA alongside and at the direction of Jennifer.
The right candidate possesses a desire to work in all aspects of the business in a collaborative and friendly manner. Necessary skills include: confidence in an office setting and in client interactions; efficiency and organization, an ability to multitask and take on short and long-term assignments. Solid typing, telephone and office skills a must. Experience with “back of the room” support during live events is a bonus.
This position is approximately 10+ hours a month, year-round and pay is $25/hr to start, depending on the candidate, with the potential for a wage increase in 90 days. This is an independent contractor job so there are no benefits, sick or vacation pay or workers’ comp.
