I was reflecting recently and realized that I have it pretty good. Not only do I have a business I love, but…
- I have a regular bedtime that I honor, no pulling all nighters to make it all happen.
- I get a ton of quality time with my (now) husband and never take my laptop to bed!
- We get to travel, and play and have a fun all the time (we’re heading to Mexico in a week) and…
- I get to catch up with my girlfriends on the regular whether it’s girl trips or group chats.
I don’t share all this to say “Hey, look at how cool I am”, I will cringe if you think that! Instead, after listening to tons of interviews of successful women who I hold in high esteem, they always end up revealing how….though they never told anyone… they weren’t sleeping with their husbands, they were in the hospital for exhaustion, they’re healing their TMJ from so much stress in their lives and that list goes on! Since I’m made of the same stuff, you know that internal battery that says, go,go,go, I am very conscious to not create a business that requires that of me.
