Now that you’ve read Part 1 & Part 2, you are beginning to understand that you have the power to turn your dreams into reality with a simple change in your perception. If you can start where you are and take manageable steps to get there, you’re well one your way. There is just one final element that is THE MOST important of them all. It seems obvious yet few ever do it.


Do something! Anything that will bring you one step closer to your goals. To start a weight loss journey, you have to start getting up and moving. To start a renovation project you have to start at one corner in one room, to start a book you must begin with the first sentence.

You now have The Big Goal, whittled down into doable activities and your calendar is telling you when, where and how you’re going to do it. However, don’t get trapped in the planning stages and just stay there.

A lot of times we find ourselves excited about a new project and go all out on the planning and it appears we are on our way to success. We’ll buy the markers to fill out our calendars, we will go shopping and fill our houses with only fruits and vegetables, we’ll go to REI or Adventurers R Us to start crossing things off of our bucket list and then the next day…nothing.

I have been guilty of this. I LOVE to plan. This year for my birthday, pretty much anyone who gave me a gift, gifted me with a planner. That’s how much I love them and people who know me know that. I’ll get my colored pencils or markers and start writing down goals and deadlines. The problem is, if I don’t follow the steps above and fail to make my small and doable goals, I get overwhelmed and there lies my planner, filled out for the whole year untouched and useless. It’s the same when someone is ready to start their new fitness lifestyle. They get the shorts that match the shoes that match the shirt and buy the best (normally expensive) brands only to find those new threads in the back of the closet the next year.

Don’t let this be you! We have to Bust a Move! Make your plans and then ACT on it Today! Anytime you find yourself saying “I’ll do it Tomorrow”, know that you’ve slipped into self sabotage mode and that you need to go within and figure out what is going on with you. Nothing pushes you along more than achieving a small task. When you do, the momentum begins to build and pushes you along.

So, when you’re feeling stuck, covered in ANTs and unmotivated, just remember remember the Destiny Discoveries “3Bs“, Bloom Where You’re Planted, Baby Steps and Bust a Move to get yourself on the path to your Destiny!
