How would you like permission once and for all to go after your Dreams and feel guilty about it? How would you like to hear evidence supporting that going after your Dreams is bigger than you! If you didn’t get a chance to read Part I of How to go from Funk to Freedom, but sure to check that out first. Today’s message is so important I knew it needed to stand on it’s own. Many Visionaries struggle with the concept I introduce today for so many reasons. What I want you to do, is just read this post with an open heart and I know this message will change how you view your Dreams and Goals forever!
Without further ado, the final step on how to go from Funk to Freedom is…..
Favor
As in “Do the World a Favor and Honor Your Gifts!”. This, Destiny Discoverers, is your whole reason for being. It’s the reason you wake up in the morning and it’s the reason you are reading this right now. There is something that has been placed on your heart that you want to pursue, that you want to see come into fruition. Guess what? Do the world a favor and have the courage enough to make it happen!
I always say “God does not give us Vision, without Provision”. That means a couple things to me:
1. God does not trouble our hearts and stir our souls with a vision without there being a need for it somewhere in the world. That dream, that vision you have stirring in your Spirit is actually the answer to someone’s prayer. You acting on your dream is not a self-centered act, it’s literally answering a call and answering someone’s prayer who is in need.
2. God does not charge us with the duty of answering this prayer with out giving us necessary provisions to do just that. What does that mean? That you have everything you need to fulfill your dream right now. Right where you are as you read this, you are brave enough, you are smart enough, you are able enough and you have enough to see your dream through to the end. By simply having the vision, you are already provided for, the path is already laid out for you to walk in your Destiny. You only job is to Walk!
Give yourself permission to pursue your dreams. It is selfish not to. Marie Forleo asks the question “If you had the cure for cancer, would you keep it hidden to yourself or would you share it with the world?”. You would share it of course! What makes you think your talent or gift is any less special? You may not see it’s healing powers in a physical way, but when you are living in the flow and in harmony with the Universe that is a healing energy that permeates the world. Not only that, as I mentioned above, your passion, your dream, your 
destiny is the answer to someone’s prayer. Do the world a favor and share your gifts and talents with the world.
I have a quote I came up with one day when praying for a mantra to keep me in the right headspace when I begin to doubt my abilities and it is this: “Living in your Greatness is the biggest act of Humility”. At times we think pursuing our goals is a selfish, self-serving, self-righteous thing to do. However, that is simply not true. Listening to your heart, answering the highest calling and allowing your light to shine actually takes a huge amount humility. If you are concerned about being the star, getting recognition and gaining fame, then you are in the wrong state of mind. When you truly surrender to your calling and surrender to your greatness, you become a humble servant of your dream and that is when you being walking in your Destiny.
